Pochází z herecké rodiny a narodil se v roce 1971 v Ostravě. Vystudoval pražskou konzervatoř a již za studií hrál například v Divadle Jiřího Wolkra v Praze (dnes Divadlo v Dlouhé). Od roku 1992 byl v angažmá v Divadle ABC, v poslední době ho diváci můžou vidět především v Divadle na Jezerce.
Od sezóny 2019/2020 je členem činohry DJKT. Zde se postupně zhostil už několika nezapomenutelných rolí. Jako autoritativní Konstantin von Essenbeck září v Soumraku Bohů, na jeho Policistu jen tak nezapomenete po návštěvě inscenace Middletown, oslnit vás může i jeho výkon v nedávném prvním uvedení Neapolské choroby v postavě tragikomického lékaře Wernera. Zdeněk Hruška svým figurám propůjčuje fascinující temperament, brilantní střihy, expresivní i přirozené minimalistické herectví. Široké divácké publikum ho poznalo i skrz televizní tvorbu např. jako plastického chirurga Pavla Getze v seriálu Ordinace v růžové zahradě. V epizodních rolích účinkoval pak v řadě dalších seriálů. Veřejnosti je znám především jeho charismatický hlas. Jako dabér jej propůjčil např. Michailu Keatonovi, Ewanu McGregorovi nebo Zacharymu Quintonovi coby Spockovi ve Star Treku.

At the time this brochure goes to print, the above-mentioned writers and playwrights are writing the play directly for the actors of Pilsen drama ensemble. They are not working together for the first time, they have won many awards at home and abroad for their literary achievements. more
