Narodil se v roce 1973 v Plzni a ve svém rodném městě vystudoval strojní průmyslovou školu. V DJKT se poprvé objevil ve Smočkově inscenaci Goldoniho Poprasku na laguně, kde hrál prodavače pečených dýní. V roce 1996 nastoupil do činoherního souboru jako inspicient, jeho první prací byla inscenace hry Vraždy a něžnosti Antonína Procházky. Kromě inspice se objevuje i jako herec v menších rolích, rád vzpomíná například na Richarda III. v režii Jana Buriana, kde si kromě inspiční práce zahrál i roli vraha.
