Skladatel, textař, dirigent, aranžér a jazzový klavírista. Od konce 80. let minulého století spolupracuje na mnoha hudebních a divadelních projektech v širokém spektru hudebních žánrů. V současné době působí jako dirigent v Hudebním divadle Karlín a je stálým hostujícím dirigentem Českého národního symfonického orchestru. V posledních letech uvedl množství svých koncertních kompozic. Komponuje a aranžuje také hudbu pro bigbandy, s nimiž vystoupil na mnoha evropských festivalech. Pro Laternu Magiku zkomponoval hudbu k inscenaci Legendy magické Prahy Jiřího Srnce. Pro Český rozhlas dosud zrealizoval více než třicet hudebních dramatizací. Ve Studiu Dva hudebně nastudoval kromě svých autorských titulů Vánoční koleda a Děvčátko – Vánoční příběh muzikály Hello, Dolly!, Evita, Šíleně smutná princezna a Funny Girl. Na svém kontě má mnoho vydaných CD. Za hudbu k filmu Masaryk (2016) obdržel cenu Český lev.
