Jana Piorecká vystudovala Pedagogickou fakultu ZČU v Plzni, obor český jazyk – hudební výchova pro střední školy a na téže fakultě absolvovala také v oboru sólový zpěv. Je sólistkou opery DJKT v Plzni, kde ztvárnila desítky rolí, např. Káču ve Dvořákově opeře Čert a Káča, dvojroli Múzy a Niclausse v Offenbachových Hoffmannových povídkách, Suzuki v Pucciniho opeře Madama Butterfly, Olgu v opeře Eugen Oněgin P. I. Čajkovského a mnoho dalších. Hostuje v řadě našich divadel (Národní divadlo Praha, Jihočeské divadlo České Budějovice). Pravidelně se věnuje písňové tvorbě, komorní a oratorní hudbě a koncertuje s harfistkou Bronislavou Klablenovou jako duo Harp & Voice. Mnohokrát vystoupila i v zahraničí. V plzeňské opeře naposledy vytvořila roli Veruny v opeře Šelma sedlák.
