Americká sopranistka Becca Conviser pochází z Glencoe (Illinois). Studovala na New England Conservatory a na Manhattanské škole hudby. Mezi její největší úspěchy patří ocenění na Mezinárodní soutěži Aria, na soutěži Elisabeth Connell pro dramatickou sopranistku, Americké ceny, London Grand Prize a řady dalších. Vystupovala na mnoha festivalech, např. v Nice, ve Výmaru, v Itálii (Chiara, Siena), v Salcburku a jinde. Ve svém repertoáru má dvacet pět rolí poměrně širokého repertoárového spektra od Mozarta přes Verdiho, Pucciniho, Wagnera až k dílu Richarda Strausse. V Plzni, kde je stálým hostem opery Divadla J. K. Tyla ji diváci zatím mohli vidět v operách Rusalka, Nevěsta messinská a Nabucco.
